This is a play I could NOT put down. Like watching a bull gore a rider, it's impossible to look away from the carnage M.D. Schaffer has written. A Rodeo Clown tackle race, generational trauma, and impending parenthood, all while putting on the show of a lifetime. From the onset of this play, we are immersed in the history and culture of the rodeo, but we are also confronted with the exploitation its riders and clowns face at the hands of a greedy manager. What an amazing play for actors!

In the heart of Texas, "Rodeo Dreams" is a tale of ambition and family. Samuel Tennerson's struggle as a rodeo clown and expectant father is masterfully portrayed, blending humor with raw emotion. The play's exploration of life's precarious balance is both entertaining and thought-provoking, making it a must-read.
