When I read what this was about, I definitely did not expect what I read to be so funny, heart-warming and cathartic. Khatiblou has taken every woman's worst nightmare and made it the focus of a great buddy road comedy. It's certainly not all laughs though. There are some incredible moments where characters express how hard it is to be a woman and the fear they constantly live with that their most private moments could belong to anyone with an internet connection. The dialogue sizzles and the ending is a such a great stage picture.

Protagonists Michelle and Rudi embark on a road trip with the aim of getting the owner of a website dedicated to posting revenge porn to remove Michelle's photos. On this journey, we see the effect that negotiating living in a patriarchal world has had on them and the men in their lives. There are several great emotional twists and turns throughout the play. This is such a smart contemporary period piece with a perennial message: everybody needs to get more feminist, now!

This play is both fun and full of righteous feminist rage. A subversion of your typical road trip narrative that takes two ASU girls and a youth pastor from an Arizona megachurch on a ride to Flagstaff and into the depths of desire and anger, it's one of those plays that looks to the past to understand the present. And unfortunately both past and present are full of exploitative men and internet creeps.
