  • Wren Aubrey Latham: The Experience

This is such a fun read with a ton of stageability. Easy to follow, dripping with subtext, and every line was necessary, feeding into the next and funnier than the last.

  • Tom Moran: The Experience

I heard this on the "Stories Found" podcast and greatly enjoyed it. It takes a fun, thought-provoking idea and plays it out to a logical and quite funny conclusion, building to an ending that is both counterintuitive and entirely appropriate. A great way to spend ten minutes.

  • Kimberly Saunders: The Experience

The Experience is a fun and witty play that is concise and economical. The set is minimal. The characters are engaging. This would be an enjoyable play to both perform in and watch as an audience member.

Clinton Festa is a clever, witty writer and this script is Festa at his most clever. It is a fresh, wonderful, funny script that has a load of fun for all four of the characters. Fun, unique, and really, really funny. Highly recommend!!

  • Ava Love Hanna: The Experience

Clinton’s plays are always fun, and The Experience is no exception. He presents the audience with a solid set-up – a couple on an anniversary date to a restaurant – and quickly upends their expectations in this surreal comedy. He combines witty wordplay with physical comedy and even manages to add in a touching moment or two (the pork chop nostalgia was an excellent addition) to create a fast paced, but solid play that’s sure to offer a crowd pleasing ‘experience’ for all.
