This is a very bold and even cathartic play. It characterizes politics, almost in a sketch-like manner. Yet, through doing so, we see the underbelly of a system that never really cares about the people. It exorcizes itself of having to be responsible for the harm it does. Ricardo Soltero-Brown is throwing our expectations for our government in our faces, getting us to remember the classic saying "when people show you who they are, believe them."

I can't dismiss this piece. Nor can I get it out of my head. I see the actors onstage standing before a huge backdrop of a torn, tattered and stained American flag. The actors stand in dim lighting and hurl the words the author has written at the audience like poisoned darts. This is definitely a work for our time. I can wait to read Act 2!!!

I absolutely loved this play. More playwrights need to take chances on staging and dialogue to create an artistic experience. This play is funny and chilling at the same time. It speaks to America. I want to see it produuced and I will buy the first ticket.
