It's been a while since I experienced a FRAGILE MIND ep. After skimming the synopses of earlier episodes, I jumped in... and was intantly back in the world and the story! Bravo! Great serialized writing!

The on-the-run urgency is heartpounding throughout. Swenson masterfully makes us doubt everyone's realities. The beautifully rainy dystopic atmosphere envelops them and us. It's fascinating to see the Great Experiment unravel while desperately trying to contain our heroes (and villains?).

Installment 5 of the A Fragile Mind series has Tammy on the run with therapist/girlfriend Kelli. On the run from what? From whom? Through the scattered memories of escapee Brian, the work of the Rejuvination Center is becoming clear. Will Tammy/Jenny find her truth? Can she save herself? I’m completely hooked as this story keeps twisting and turning in the most unexpected ways!

This one really messed with me. This series continues to build upon its self and has created this messed up world where nothing is as it seems. The twist in the final pages really shocked me and makes me rethink the past pieces in this series as a whole. Brilliant work!

The plot thickens in Joe Swenson's newest addition to the Fragile Mind series. New fragments of world-building are skillfully knit into the unravelling narrative of Tammy Braden. One could even say the series' shadowy lore sneaks up behind you and taps you on the shoulder. With the arrival of Brian, patterns are found and the allegiances of the characters are tested and revealed. I hope there will be more, because I can't get enough of this uncanny world Joe has created! Applause applause applause!
