A powerful play that captures two parents dealing with their past and their present and how it will all impact their future. It was selected as part of our student-directed one-act play festival and was well received by the audience, and the cast and director had a blast working on it.

I really enjoyed reading this play. It comments on circumstances that may very well be common but is not very spoken about. It was realistic and I felt all the ups and downs throughout this scene. Even in such a short play, it was natural to feel all of the emotions that the two parents were experiencing during this time. It was nice to see the way that despite their past and anger towards one another (more Carolyn towards Burt), there was still a sense of togetherness and being there for one another during this scary, heartbreaking time.
