A sweet slice-of-life piece that ends with a well-earned warm fuzzy. Lipschutz sets us up for a derisive encounter that turns instead into a tender and affirming one, with some great laughs along the way. And a very catchy title.

Incredibly sweet in the wildest circumstances, this play brings out the kindness you can rely on strangers in somewhere like a concert where everyone comes find joy and escape from real life, even for just a few hours. Would be so incredibly fulfilling to see this play out on stage, and bring an audience in that genuine heartfelt connection together.

With the title and the set-up in the first few pages, you're expecting a certain outcome. But no; David Lipschutz takes us in a very different direction that is both unpredictable and yet laden with portent and promise. It is moments like this that make up some of the more interesting and stage-worthy moments of life, and this moment is very much worth sharing.
