Boris and Joey have settled down in their marriage and apartment, but have quickly grown bored of their humdrum lives and routines. Eileen pressures Boris to give her grandchildren, but Joey still longs for the days when they were younger and fun-fearful that a child would prevent them from ever getting that back. When Mary Hope is kicked out of rehab and forced to stay with the unhappy couple for a weekend, she makes them completely rethink their approach to life.
