Heyman's writing balances character and caricature, giving just enough to latch onto as the action careens from beat to beat.

A fortune of time is not necessary for an audience to invest in the work, as we see that not all investments proceed as expected and the stocks seem to get a bit more literal.

The joy of this piece is in how many turns Heyman can take you on in eleven pages. Hilarious, well written, and with implications of a deeper world that leave a lot to the imagination of the producing artists and the audience, "To Necessary Ends" is a wonderful show for a time when corporations shamelessly sustain themselves on the lifeblood of the working class.

With every chop, the tension rises in this little guys win saga. This would be a fantastic short play stage. Between the lighting, the props, and the chanting... the visual effects would be powerful. OUTSTANDING!
