When a person decides they want to change their life in lieu of ending it, they turn to the dark web to hire somebody to kidnap them. It seems like a perfect plan until the kidnaper arrives and reveals themself to be less than up to the task. Over the course of an hour each character convinces the other to move forward with the plan while simultaneously uncovering reasons not to. The volleying between them leads to the telling of an epic joke which blows the other character’s mind. Do they know each other? Are these two connected in some cosmic way? Could they be… doppelgängers?

A wild, unexpected ride - a dark tale for fallen times. Who takes the taker? Who wishes to be taken and why? What does it mean to play the dance between Eros and Thanatos in a world about to fall apart? A magnetic play that offers great roles for its actors, and a thrilling encounter for its audience."

An excellent play filled with twists, turns, and humor. It was extremely well written and I was gripped to the end. When I got to direct it the reading was a rich, exciting experience for myself, the performers, and the audience.

A beautifully written wild ride that keeps you engaged from beginning to the bitter end.
