    A joke centered around pee jokes sounds like a dream come true! I’m sure a few people have resulted to Hank’s desperation, but I, for one, also feel for him at the same time. Urrutia’s Piss Cup Payments is an interesting script, where not only do you laugh at the absurdity, you empathize with the human elements both characters have. I hope to see this script in a NYC short play festival sooner rather than later!!

    I write a lot of pee jokes. Like, far too many of my plays have piss in them. It's not a sexual thing. Piss is funny. Some people like poop humor. My fiancée loves it when characters suddenly vomit. We all have our favorite bodily functions.

    I have to say these things to avoid giving anything away about Urrutia's play. I want so much to talk about it, but I cannot spoil what is irrevocably the greatest play with piss in it I have ever encountered. I wish I had written it. Unrelatedly, I have to go the bathroom.

    The minimum amount of urine necessary for a drug test is roughly the same as the "standard" measure of a shot of liquor. 1 1/2 ounces, 45ml, or the unfortunately named jigger shot for the bespoke, the one right on the other side of the pony shot, 30ml, that you can get in cocktail making kits.

    How fitting then that this piece by Urrutia indirectly begs the question, "what is a human but a cask for that golden liquor, and what price will the market set to it?"
