01/23/2026 - Part fantasy and part Waiting for Godot, Waiting for Roger is a winning ten minute comedy piece. The canine characters capture your heart, the jokes make you laugh, and the concept keeps you engaged from beginning to end. Would love to see this staged to see what a cast and director bring to it. Great work!

"Waiting for Roger" is a real treat! Written from the perspective of three canine friends waiting at a bar, this comedy brings us into a fun, funny and imaginative world beautifully created by Lynn Millar.

I was so well entertained by these three canine characters that I didn’t care if Roger showed up. This is a clever exploration of what dogs might be thinking if we could only hear them. Fireworks? Loud and scary. Eating and drinking? More, please. What was I talking about? I got distracted and forgot. Best line: “I think I ate my umbrella.” Costume three actors in some zany dog accessories and have fun with this one.
