Recommendations of Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

  • Mike Byham: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

Who doesn't love a good ole fashioned knights and dragon story? Brent Alles provides the laughs with his twist on the dragon tale (or is that tail?) complete with a couple of willing but barely competent slayers in Jay and Kay. If you think Laurel and Hardy meeting Godzilla is a solid premise, you'll like this. If you're a fan of Monty Python-style humor, you'll love this! I would love to see this staged! Lots of fun! Bravo!

  • Ramsey Uhter: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

A whirlwind of fun, laughs, and adventure! My favorite type of play is one that doesn't take itself too seriously, and this one, by all means, has hit the hilarity jackpot. With lines like, 'Truly we are now brothers of the inadvertent piss, Sir Kay!,' you will scour to read more of Alles' brilliant work. 10/10, Huzzah!

  • John Medlin: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

The antics of Sir Jay and Sir Jay as they face off against Neil are highly entertaining. Sir Jay and Sir Kay have an energetic tit-for-tat that propels the piece wonderfully. The humor is handled wonderfully. Excellent work.

  • Alexa Schoffel: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

This play had me laughing out loud from the knights’ entrance! The banter is well written, the characters are hilarious, and I truly could not predict how this lighthearted fairy tale spoof would end. I could watch hours of these guys, great work!

  • Paul Donnelly: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

A riotously funny spoof of the narrative of the heroic knight and the fearsome dragon. The dialogue is witty and filled with giggle inducing double entendres, and the two knights make a hysterical comic duo. Then we come to the dragon named Neil. Let's just say he is everything you might hope for in a dragon named Neil.

  • Morey Norkin: Sir Jay and Sir Kay Versus the Fearsome Dragon

Two knights and a dragon named Neil. As soon as you get that far, you know you’re in for some crazy good fun! And Brent Alles delivers the goods! Double entendres galore and, I’ll say it again, a dragon named Neil. A visual and verbal laugh fest!
