We had the distinct pleasure of reading this funny piece today. I was in charge of the stage directions and kept laughing. Max is written so well, her self obsession is perfect. The twist at the end was a lovely surprise!! Great work!

Oh this is a TERRIFIC ghost story! What a great piece to add to your evening of spooky plays. Lots of opportunity for design, but also, the audience will love the twist!

Who doesn't love a good ghost story? Lou Jones dials up a wonderful ghost story in three short scenes. We start with a benign premise, a social media influencer faking her way into viewers. The reluctant assistant, desiring to be truthful and authentic. Then the twist, as any good ghost story should have, there has to be a twist. What's one good twist without one more twist. This is where Lou cranks it up a notch and lands the punchline with conviction and a scream! Loved it!

Perfect! A send up of the ghost hunting craze! I am a long time ghost hunter and love to see a good skewering of the field. Lou Jones gives us a funny and chilling tale of comeuppance and ghostly activity.

A fun read with great repartee between "ghost hunter" Max and ... I won't spoil it. Nice twists, and an ever-green setting (haunted house) make this an engaging potential production for audiences from tween-age on up.

Ha, Max gets her comeuppance in true, gruesome, Lou Jones style in this fun ghost story short!
Everything about her story is fake, she just wants viewing figures.... but.... this is where the spooky story starts....

Arrogant video host Max gets exactly the justice she deserves when her special ghost hunting episode achieves unprecedented success of a sort she will certainly regret. Very quick plotting and a nifty twist make this an enjoyable read. Her assistant's puzzling attitude is beautifully, and spookily, redeemed by the surprise ending.
