Sasha Serena writes not just about the destruction of Eugenia's home, but the destruction of her former self. In the setting of her ruined bedroom, Eugenia now an exile, confronts her younger self, and the conflict she feels at leaving her beloved home, in order to stay alive. Haunting. And necessary.
