Exceptional look at the afterlife with a powerful premise and characters that are unique and unexpected. The dialogue is crisp and true to life (or death?). The final moment is abrupt but fitting. Well written and would be fascinating on stage.

Truly original! I love the world that is created for the characters here. It's simple yet well thought out. All the characters are engaging, and the piece offers the perfect amount of laughs, sentiment, and hope. I would love to see this staged, and I would love to see hear the full audio drama. Well done!

  • Tom Erb: After (10 min play)

“After” is a thought-provoking play where Rich Helms crafts a world where the dead, known as ‘Passers’, still linger on earth, visible only to each other. The characters, Todd and Brat, navigate this new existence with a mix of bewilderment and wit, offering a fresh take on life after death. The dialogue is sharp, the concept intriguing, and the play leaves audiences reflecting on the ties that bind us, even beyond the grave. It’s a quick yet memorable journey through the ‘After.’
