The situation is always tense when someone goes missing, but COLE takes this to a whole new level. First, you are led to believe that Beth has simply gone missing, there's probably an innocent reason, but as the play unfolds things get darker. Cleverly played out in one short scene in one room with one family, who golds the secret to the absence of Beth?
I just listened to a great audio of this tense play by Theatrical Shinnanigans.

Suspenseful! "This isn't one of your stupid true-crime podcasts"...love it. The three characters' personalities are so clear within moments. Brava!

In the hands of a masterful writer, you always take the bait. Debra Cole toys with stereotypes and dangles distractions until she's good and ready to reveal her villain. A well crafted and entertaining read!

This is one of those wonderful plays that pulls you in deeper and deeper, line by line. The evidence is quickly revealed, and the question of "Did he do it?" lingers throughout till we discover "the truth". Wonderfully written, suspenseful from first last line to the last. Prepare yourself!

The police question a young man when his girlfriend goes missing the night they break up. His parents are convinced their son had nothing to do with her disappearance, but if he didn't, who did? The answer will knock your socks off. Great work.

We had the great joy of reading this play at our Sunday night play reading and... OH MY GOD! You are thrown head-first in a tension fuelled conversion between parents and son following a conversation with the police! From there the play twists and turns in an expert fashion and you will be left gasping out loud at some of the perfectly timed revelations. Deb has always had a great means of writing plays that move at a great pace and this is a perfect example of that. It offers a FABULOUS chance for three performers!

This play pulls you and doesn't let go from the very start with the rapid back and forth dialogue that has you taking sides with this family as they get deeper into what happened and who is who in this tight scenario. The ending won't disappoint and neither does this play!!
