"I'M HERE FOR YOU" follows two college students, a young man and woman, who are working on a class project together. As they work, the man is quick to share his liberal beliefs with the woman... however, his intentions may not necessarily be all that altruistic. Runtime ~10min.

"GIRLBOSS" is about a feminist podcaster and her team, and explores how the environment and actions made in the production room do not always seem to mirror the advice given on the podcast. Runtime ~25min.

"GUYS NIGHT" follows a group of three young liberal men, enjoying an evening in together. After an encounter with one of their girlfriends, what occurs afterwards leads one to question whether or not they are as forward-thinking as they believe themselves to be. Runtime ~20min.

These one-acts may be performed independently, or as a scene night.

I really enjoyed the carefully-balanced tension and relationships set up in each of these three pieces. I was particularly interested in Sam’s palpable lack of response to Dave in GIRLBOSS, and the given circumstances in GUYS NIGHT were unique and rich as well.
