Recommendations of The Brunch Crowd

  • P.C. Verrone: The Brunch Crowd

Dillon cuts right to the heart of the joys and dramas of the queer and trans community in this play. These wonderfully real characters come to life through fierce and loving writing. I didn’t want to leave this brunch!

I love this play! And I especially love that it's set in Texas. I want to read more trans and queer plays in the south. That said, I fell in love with these characters immediately and loved the relationships between them. Highly recommend!

Loved getting to spend time with this group. What a great ensemble piece. Such an intimate play that also tackles big issues like gentrification and violence against the queer community. Fantastic roles for queer actors of color. Such a fun play that has so much to say.

The Brunch Crowd has the best vibes. I love how the characters play off of each other. The moments when they are all together feel fo vibrant. Especially in the final scene of the play. I enjoyed seeing the characters try and figure out things impacting the community and the world today. All in all, its an exciting play that I would love to see on stage eventually.
