KRAMPUS MY STYLE is a delightful, villainous morsel an actor can really sink their teeth into, complete with an ironic twist at the end.

Never judge a book by it's cover or a Krampus by it's... krampusing, I guess. Monica Cross shows us everyone has a public persona, and then there's the side they never show the public. And hilariously enough, it's one I never expected. I mean Krampus LOOOOOOOVES his job, right? (And c'mon, if YOU had HIS job, you'd secretly love it too) But here we see the softer, squishier side of this guy. And we love him all the more for it. Thanks for this Christmas present, Monica.

I really sympathize with Krampus (a sentence I never saw myself writing before...) because in Monica Cross' delightful monologue, he makes so many GREAT points! We are a culture of all carrots, no sticks. Bring back Krampusnacht! You've got nothing to worry about if you're good, right?
    Excellent work Monica!

Krampus is royalty. Old-school villainy. On the D&D alignment chart, he's squarely lawful evil, and I think many of us could listen to him monologue for ages, much more than the runtime of Cross' delicious pages. It really makes a difference when you love your work, doesn't it? And that makes it all the worse when the economy makes that job harder, or obsolete. A fun musing from the master of Christmas punishment, who most definitely has a heart bigger than the Grinch, post growing three sizes. Delightful and excellent stuff.

“Nobody wants to be punished anymore!” Oh, to be Krampus in the modern era - Monica Cross hilariously explores this under-sung folkloric figure in “Krampus My Style,” a monologue that will surely be welcome at any holiday festival worth its salt. Santa can’t get all the credit for the success of the Christmas season!

A super pourquoi story (of sorts) to add to the end of the year holiday season. I won't say more and ruin it... but you'll find Krampus a most sympathetic Santa's helper!

Light can not exist without the darkness — or can it? Krampus, the poor, misunderstood polar (ha!) opposite of Santa Claus, has been stripped of his power by sheer lack of demand. In Monica Cross' delightful comedy, he gets to tell his side of the story. I gotta say: for a being whose job is to devour naughty children, he's a mighty sympathetic character.
I'd love to see this in an evening of holiday shorts. Bravo!

What a fabulous monologue! Krampus has a job he loves, a job he is great at - but no one needs or wants him to do his job anymore. A funny, surprisingly sweet monologue about the good old days. I love how Krampus is portrayed and the joy he takes in talking about the work he was born to do. I also love that he's not quite the monster we've all been told he is. This would be a breath of fresh air in an evening of holiday - or any - shorts.

Super-fun holiday monologue delivered by the traditionally scary yet (here) surprisingly nostalgic Krampus. I also love that Krampus is wearing a smoking jacket!

Add a little bit of evil and mischief to your Christmas showcase with this diabolical monologue. The entire setting and costuming would be a surprising sight after your typical characters on stage.
