    Saw this at 59e59 and thought it was a really lovely two hander about terrifying realities. The production was lovely, and the writing really sings when put into a realistic box set. The setting feels claustrophobic in the same way some of the greatest plays do with their respective settings.

    This is a powerful play. Hutton skillfully draws us into a dark dystopian world that is just a slight exaggeration of the dangers women are being put in by cynical politicians. It features 2 dynamic roles with a lot of dramatic tension.

    This taut thriller is so spot-on brilliant in its conception (pun intended) and its accomplishment of the difficult task of getting into the hottest topic of the moment (abortion) without any didacticism, pedantry or preaching. Blood of the Lamb is a great treat for actors to grapple with the intensity of the action, the clarity of the roles are so well written, and the play is a great pleasure to watch!
