If you were weaned on classic horror movies, you know the deal - there's always one previously thought of helpless victim-in-waiting that somehow evades the fate dealt to countless others. Part Jame Lee Curtis, part Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Emma steps up to be that girl time and time again. This one's calling for a sequel (or two)! Alles delivers the creepy fun!

This is such a great twist on the horror trope. And a twist that continues to twist and still manages to be funny at the same time. Emma is a great character and I can see her doing this in a whole series of horrific events. The audience will root for her every time!

I appreciate how Brent Alles' "FINAL GIRL" reimagines horror tropes with some wicked sharp wit and dark humor. The role of the setting intensifies the psychological game between Emma and "Mad" Marty. It's refreshing that the play cleverly subverts classic horror clichés, drawing the audience in with unexpected twists. It’s a compelling and entertaining piece that would be a delight to see staged. So good!

Wow! This piece went in directions I never expected and I was so glad it did! As a fan of horror slashers, this piece tackled the genre in a really creative way. I'd love to see this performed. Fun, fun, fun!

What a great idea and very cleverly written. Drew me in from the start and was not expecting the twists, loved the comedy too. Would love to see it staged.

In this quick-paced horror comedy, Alles gives the audience a deconstructed portrayal of the beloved "final girl" who takes power into her own hands, resulting in her becoming a modern-day Jennifer Hills in "I Spit On Your Grave" in this well-balanced meta-narrative!

I love that BRENT ALLES takes the trope of a vulnerable female victim and turns it upside down! A little bit if dark humor... a whole lot of revenge... I would absolutely hire Emma to be a dormitory resident advisor. I would sleep much at night knowing she was in charge. Is that wrong?????

We all know the Final Girl trope...does she live or die? This twisted little play gives our beloved character some real moments as she turns the tables on an inept serial killer who's no match for a victim who has already seen it all. Add this to your Halloween horror fest!

What an inventive subversion of our favorite horror and slasher movie tropes! The notorious serial killer is immediately rendered pathetic and lackluster by a fierce (and very broken) final girl who is worthy of her title and status! Theatrically, it's packed with great ideas for creating visceral moments of wince-worthy violence on stage with minimal tech, which I'm sure would get a huge reaction from audiences! It's funny, bloody, and unexpectedly emotional!

Brent turns a Horror trope we all know too well upside down and spins it around. So twisted, so unexpected, but so funny- and perfect for a Halloween performance! I especially loved the monologuing ABOUT monologuing. Well done!
