Very clever comedy where women of different eras get together to create their own script. This play has a lot of juicy roles for different types of female characters. Would be a nice addition to a woman's festival.

In "The Greenroom," playwright Rene Zabel crafts a delightful romp through time and character arcs. It’s like ‘Friends’ meets ‘Doctor Who’ with a dash of existential crisis. The witty banter and kaleidoscope of eras make this play a must-read!

This is a small play bursting at the seams with powerful femme characters that deserve to get out! And their strong group dynamic of mutual protests (for different causes) bring them together for their own cause, to be heard! This would be visually entertaining to see as well, with the multiple era costumes and watching the characters come together as a united front against invisibility. They will no longer be invisible to the author, nor the rest of the world!

We had the privilege of reading this at our Sunday night play reading and it was a fablous exploration of women's history coupled with an investigation of how the world of creating works and how our characters could feel about it. It offers a fabulous opportunity for powerful and fun characters for women and would offer entertainment and education!
