Oh Christopher, what a tear jerker you give us! This is such a great examination and character study of a couple that never whites figure out the timing of their destiny, but the experiences we get to follow show us everything we need to understand the persistence of love and people.

A heart-breaking look at a what if...? told over the course of a lifetime. That last summer was an anchor point that Perry and Meredith couldn't release themselves from no matter what was thrown in their way. A years-long lifeline neither truly let go of. And here, in their later years, do they hold on to that lifeline together. Chris Soucy knows just how to tug at the emotional core of this relationship and it never feels false or contrived. Tell me you weren't pulling for them to see what the rest of us have from the beginning.

What powerful feelings in just 10 minutes. It's a tad jarring to see two lives go so quickly, but comforting knowing that they eventually get their resolve. Would love to see what a director could do with this! Well done.

A beautiful, real and heartbreaking play about a longtime friendship and the roads — really a singular road — not taken in life. This was an exquisite joy to read.

What a beautiful and tender short play about longing and words unsaid. The structure is pure magic with an omniscient narrator to guide our clumsy characters to universal truths. Just beautiful... and very human.
