This play takes the horror truism that the unseen is scarier than the monster you show the audience & twists it in a way that’s almost cute — which is, of course, even scarier.

An incredible one-minute play. A twist we all see but also somehow never see coming.

Excellent. Playing at first upon our expectations and then exceeding them. Poignant. (Oct 6, 2024)

Perfection. Utter perfection. This is a bite sized meal. This is a funny play that turns the monster in the closet trope on its ear. [10/05/2024]

The true challenge of the one minute play is that it seems almost impossible to create a story with a beginning, middle and end and have character development and a motivated protagonist and a reveal and a big dramatic moment and maintain good voice distinction and amazing dialogue and so on and so on. Kudos to Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn for showing us all how it is done! (10/5/2024)

Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn has created a beautiful example of letting the audience's imagination fill in the details of the horror rather than showing it to them. I love that it allows so many interpretations of what the horrific thing in this one-minute play could be. [24/09/17]

What a fantastic dark comedy. This short play runs the gamut from light hearted laughter to true dread. It's short, sweet, and offers a real scare. So good.

What a moment! Succinct and very scary in a New York minute. Floyd-Priskorn just captured our world.

This succint one minute marvel begs the question 'what are our children watching - and should they be?' Desensitization of fear, is itself to be feared for we know what may be next.

Wow! So much said in one minute! CREAK is simple story-telling done effectively well. And the ending is simply perfection. Sublime.
