A small theatre company rents a theatre in the remote town of Spilth, Pennsylvania. There, they will put on an important new play, The Memory Foam Jungle, a scathing expose' on the dark side of the pillow and throw cushion industry. But the theatre they've chosen, the Blue Goose Theatre, is at the center of a small town civil war. The Blue Goose Theatre used to be the Blue Goose Strip Parlor, and the men of Spilth want it back. Patrick, a young, idealistic playwright, and his two dearest friends, actors Jennifer and Devin, will have to face everything the men of Spilth can throw at them -- from feral cats to a zombie scare -- if they want to attract the attention of off-off Broadway producer Eileen Swaizelle, and make their mark on the world of theatre.

Looking for a comedic play with a large cast that tackles the familiar meta-narrative of "let's watch 'em put on a play," but with some unexpected twists? This is the script for you. This entertaining play shows us all the drama, both on stage and behind the scenes, of staging a new work unprepared for the world (or is the world unprepared for the play?).
