65 year old Dee, has spent the last 6 years taking care of her husband, Burt, as he slowly slid and eventually succumbed to dementia. In the aftermath of his passing , she now finds herself buffering the recurring arguments between her two adult children, Kimmy and Arthur. She’s frustrated, untethered, and mentally exhausted. Desperate for a change, she decides to leave the predictable and familiar bubble of home and fly alone to join a tour of Bavaria, Germany. Her kids think she may be 'losing it'. She’s never traveled this far without Burt. But Dee believes that, with Burt’s old suitcase close at hand, this solo trip might provide her the answers she desperately craves. After missing her connecting flight to Germany, Dee finds herself in an ‘otherworldly airport’ filled with clones, AI agents, and other absurdities that would test even the most experienced travelers. It becomes an emotional roller coaster ride that takes her to the brink of her endurance. With only herself and Burt’s luggage to keep her grounded, Dee slowly finds the answer she’s been seeking and the inner strength and insight to follow wherever it may eventually lead.

A lighthearted, absurd, and crushingly relatable romp that touches on twisted family dynamics, the enduring pain of losing a partner, and of course, the hair-splitting frustration of trying to navigate through an airport. It's silly, sweet, and impossibly hopeful - I imagine it will be a hit among audience members who have lost (or are in the process of losing) someone. Directors and producers who serve an aging or senior audience, this is the comedy for you!
