From the first few pages, Isabella Gardner is painted with such character, depth, and drive. Her relationships are so specific and defined from the jump! I would love to see a production of this piece!

A delightful excerpt with thoroughly rich characters. It's very stylized and sexy and has so much suppressed desire. This has the makings of a grand, epic play. I would love to see/read the rest of it!

Steeped in history and measured in approach, this piece of "Yours Ever" establishes for us a rich tapestry of a world that we definitely want to examine further. We have a driving narrative created very quickly, and even without an intense knowledge of art history, the characters still interest and intrigue us in swift fashion. I cannot wait to see how this work develops!

Isabella Stewart Gardner, a spirited woman, defies social norms, while personal tragedies unfold. The except's exploration of identity and defiance resonates, making it a must-see for theater enthusiasts.

When I lived in Boston, I often de-stressed by going to the Gardner and lurking in the quiet upstairs alcoves where they kept the Sargents. As someone familiar with this history, I can say this excerpt is full of rich, specific historical detail! Even so, it moves effortlessly and efficiently, revealing evocative, character-driver truths behind some of my favorite art history scandals. I love that it's grounded in reality but still gives the characters so much room to breathe, bringing them to life on the page. After just a few pages, I found myself excited and invested in this story!

A carefully curated window into a part of art history I knew nothing about. I love the interplay between creating moments that will be recognizeable from the artwork itself & filling the space & time around those moments with life.

I love any play that makes me go down a rabbit hole to learn more. This excerpt of Yours Ever does exactly that. There are so many layers to Michele Clarke's story of Isabella Stewart Gardener, a woman who had to overcome so many personal and societal challenges to become a great patron of the arts. I can’t wait to read more. Or better yet, see it performed.
