A perfect play for radio. Awesome story and excellent characters. This would be a challenge for actors, but the pay off is truly worth the effort. Very nice!

What a chiller! Taut and suspenseful. Your spine will be chilling long after you read/hear the play aloud.

This has got to be everyone's nightmare. A car crash is graphically rendered with terrifyingly precise audio FX. The Father and Daughter are instantly likeable, and instantly endangered beyond survival. It's very moving, and upsetting and I wish there was a bit more of it.

Michele Clarke's radio version of RAVINE is riveting and suspenseful. Audio engineers and editors have so many avenues of creativity within this piece, and yet, no matter how the piece is audibly crafted, Clarke is able to convey the same gut-wrenching sensation. Wonderfully developed tension and suspense!

Wow. I need to read it again because I think I forgot to breathe the first time. This radio play is filled with such tenderness and love. And also tremendous fear. It may be dubbed a 'short play,' but whole lives are changed in its pages.

Holy moly... this one had me at the edge of my seat from the very first line. MICHELE CLARKE has created a world that no one ever wants to experience. Throughout the tension, the pain, and the unknown, the one thing audiences know for sure is that LOVE is guiding every single moment and action at the bottom of the ravine. This stellar two-hander will have radio listeners chilled to the bone.

  • Amber R. Dickinson: RAVINE (a 5-minute radio drama)

This was so stressful to read and I mean that in the best possible way! The speed with which the action happens, the reactions of the two involved- all of it feels true to reality. Clarke does an excellent job of creating tension in a short amount of time.

  • John Busser: RAVINE (a 5-minute radio drama)

Wow, this short radio play from Michele Clarke hits hard and then ratchets up the stakes and the tension in equal measure. The well placed use of sound (the crash, the water, etc) with no visual to guide you works even more to terrify you. I don't mean this in a derogatory fashion, but thank God this is only a short play. It's so effective in setting the situation, I don't think I could've taken a longer journey with them. Absolutely chilling.

  • Christopher Plumridge: RAVINE (a 5-minute radio drama)

This short radio drama hits hard from the opening line and the tension does not let up throughout. I am a lover of audio dramas and believe that, in good hands, this would make an excellent radio drama.
Michele deftly places her audience right in the car with father and daughter, to a point they will feel equally uncomfortable and desperate, and that's an excellent skill. Brilliant!

In addition to being powerful, terrifying and devastating, this short piece by Michele Clarke is also a textbook example of a great radio play! Taking notes after I calm down a bit.
