Very unique short piece! A wonderful parody of those game shows from the 60s and 70s - mixed in with a fascination with a classic truck to create a truly one of a kind story. Loved the characters - they would all be a blast to perform, loved the set concept - unique and wild, loved the ending - unexpected and realistic. This would be hilarious to see on stage. Well done.

TAKE MY WIFE! is highly inventive, unique, funny, and bold. Sarah Jae Leiber doesn’t pull any punches within the delivery of the play. The characters are so well crafted in this overly manic world that Leiber so expertly lays out. Would be a highlight at any short play festival.

Take My Wife! explores the rabid fetishism of capitalism and the rabid capitalism of fetish. The language is rich and leaves so much for actors/directors to explore. The premise, a vintage game show, feels very much like the film Network (a personal favorite): it’s biting and violent and humorous. Great for short play/one act fests.
