Silly, authentic, hilarious and oh so so real. Murray's turmoil is the same one we've all had, his anxiety is the same voice we all hear (typed as I look at my weights I put in my office to "lift"). Great ending too.

Murray’s treadmill has been a constant reminder of all the things he never accomplished, mocking him, taunting him, and making him just a little bit crazy. Luckily, Shelly is interested in taking it off his hands, and she has the perfect recipient in mind. After all, one man’s evil treadmill is another woman’s treasure – and opportunity for payback! A fun short play by Chris Soucy.

It's like if the Tell-Tale Heart had a gym membership... Chris Soucy has another winner on his hands with this weirdly hilarious sales pitch of a play. I mean, who WOULDN'T want a free gift like this? I meant the play, not the treadmill.

Priceless. CHRISTOPHER SOUCY takes an everyday object like a treadmill, and gives it horrifying traits... traits that haunt all of us. Actors will have a field day with this fabulous short.

FREE TREADMILL is flipping hilarious! It's short, chaotic, and very funny. I want to ask how Christopher Soucy came up with this wild premise, but honestly, audiences/readers can relate to both Murray and Shelly and their current situation.

The pudgy chain smoker hates his treadmill full of anthropomorphism. Funny dialogue! This would be perfect in a quick hitter situation in a night of shorts. Nice!

Maybe because I read this while sitting in a garage sale, but I felt compelled to read this out loud for my mother and it was a hit! This is a relatable play with a terrific character in Murray! This tale is so familiar!
