An entertaining and novel ghost story, featuring a rather unique haunted item! This is not a very spooky tale, but is still plenty of fun. A real treat for fans of pop culture and phantoms!

It’s always fascinating when a playwright picks a unique location for a play, and a haunted tent fits that criteria. Alan and Sylvie are a bit of an odd couple, with Alan an indoorsy, unadventurous type and Sylvie being a know-it-all, outdoorsy type. When the two of them encounter an angry, vengeful ghost, the fun begins. This play has many funny one-liners that make this a memorable ten-minute play.

I have now seen this play twice: At the 2024 Valdez Theatre Conference and the 2024 Midwest Dramatists Conference. It's a lesson on what might happen when you buy a used tent: You just might get the ghost of the last owner of the tent. A couple's camping adventure turns supernatural in this fun short by Tom Moran.
