This play is beautifully absurd. If Gogo and Didi from Waiting for Godot had a bottle of Malort, they might have had this sort of a time as they waited. Cern acknowledges the absurdity of the electoral process and contemporary elections, and raises you one bottle of hootch. I'd like to see a full length play starring these hilarious siblings, but for now, I'll definitely enjoy their time at the polling place.

Is it satire? Not sure, especially in today's political climate. Is it dark? In some ways I suppose. Is it entertaining? Oh Hell, yes! Brian Cern has hit upon a sure-fire way top get yourself through the BS of what our political grindhouse has become these days. The four characters here have what can best be described as "political dis-gorge" at the state of elections. We're starting to get vending machines in grocery stores selling ammunition (I know, it's insane), so maybe having liquor and vomit bags at voting centers isn't far behind.

Oh dear does this resonate in July of 2024! Glad to get some genuine belly-laughs out of a situation that feels oh so hopeless most of the time. This short script was a breath of fresh bitching! Excellent work. I might have to pour a shot myself after reading - just maaaybe not Malort. Gross! ;)
