This is one of the best examples of YA dystopian fiction I've ever read - and it's all the more impressive that it's in a stageplay format. Lyra manages to entwine vast and complex worldbuilding seamlessly into her dramaturgy. The scope of the play never comes at the cost of the characters or the drama which manages to be clear and immersive throughout the piece. This is just unlike anything I've read or seen in theater and I was so impressed by Lyra's deft handling of the effort. Check this out
