Recommendations of One Night Rescue

  • Morey Norkin: One Night Rescue

Anastasia Wild offers us a modern take on the Cinderella fairytale with clever dialogue and a believable scenario. Katie may not have met her Prince Charming, as she is certain they don't exist, but in Dan she has at least met someone who did the right thing at the right time. And maybe that's all these two are meant to share. Who knows? The speculation will keep audiences buzzing.

  • James Binz: One Night Rescue

Could become a meet-cute but I think what we see is better and more unique. The story is a typical one with some twist tossed in for flavor. These are excellent flawed characters in a situation that could go any number of directions. Anastasia Wild does a Cinderella re-mix with Me Too movement implications and finishes with a flourish. The changing emotions will be difficult for an actor to master, but well worth the pay off. Nice. 10/18/2024

  • Alice Josephs: One Night Rescue

A short duologue for 20-something actors who can show a range from tough savvy to vulnerable. The writer shows a gift for penning a sophisticated soap-type scenario giving a sweet twist to the morning-after-the-night-before trope, keeping it real but sliding in romance seamlessly, using fairy tale elements to bind a familiar girl meets boy, girl & boy argue but finally bond (here, over a hangover cure) with a touching revelation changing the dynamics & leading to a plausible ‘happy ever after’.

  • Danielle Wirsansky: One Night Rescue

"One Night Rescue" is a refreshingly honest take on modern relationships, turning the typical fairytale trope on its head. With humor and vulnerability, Anastasia Wild skillfully navigates the the possibility of finding kindness in unexpected places.

  • Christopher Plumridge: One Night Rescue

ONE NIGHT RESCUE may be in development, but I for one see it complete. Our Cinderella, Katie here, wakes up with a terrible hangover, only to find herself in a strangers home. Is this man her princess charming, or another frog.
Enough with fairy tales, this is a realistic meeting of two souls with two stories, and the twist towards the end is perfect.
    As for development? More please!
    Love it!
