Character Information

The teacher, MR. OAKS, may be played by an actor of either gender. Just change pronouns as necessary. Other characters may also be gendered swapped as necessary. Additional students can be added to fill out the classroom and act as an ensemble providing adlibs during the blackout moments, and when the aliens arrive.

    Typical elementary school teacher.
  • UNPRONOUNCEABLE ALIEN
    The leader of the aliens who is conducting the survey. They are benevolent and inquisitive. For the alien's name, the student may make any silly, or unusual sound for the name, so long as whenever they or any other alien says it, it stays consistent and does not change.
  • SPORK
    A Vulcan like alien who is analytical, and logical, and without emotion.
  • FIFIX
    A highly curious alien who is quite emotional and empathetic.
  • MEWMEW
    A cat-like alien that walks on all fours. Speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese because their universal translator is broken.
  • BOB
    A human like alien who takes a particular interest in the inanimate objects in the class.
  • BARKLEY
    Teacher's pet and goodie two-shoe, represents pride.
  • MARY
    Artistic, but is slothen.
  • NATHAN
    Intelligent, manipulative, represents greed.
  • SETH
    Represents wrath, anger or just injustice. Typical bully.
  • PAUL
    Represents envy or jealous.
  • CATHERINE
    Represents gluttony. Always on their phone.
  • SABRINA
    Well dressed and mannered, but is obsessed with popularity and fame.
  • CLASSMATES
    These are the other students in the class. These can be added as necessary to match casting needs.
