We all know the story: Eb hates Christmas, and it’s Marley’s duty to make sure he changes his ways. CCCP is a modern queer twist on a classic tale that focuses on the relationship between Scrooge and Marley, adapted for a club setting, complete with drag queens as The Ghosts of Christmas. Christmas Carol Circuit Party is second in a series of adaptations written through a queer lens (the first being 'The Naughty Tree'). It was produced by Woven Theatre at Play Dance Bar in Nashville during December 2023.

This is a piece that only works with collaboration between other artists. It is a script about the dangers of isolation; collaboration and community should be at the heart of its creation as well.
