I confess I am a Norkin fan - so I will read anything he writes. As a (former) hiker, stairways are a pathway to anywhere and everywhere. Norkin points this out as we ponder where they lead, and do we follow? And where does imagination lead and does reality follow? In one minute, Norkin gets us thinking and the thinking never ends. Does the pathway end? Where does it go and dare we follow?

Carl has a strong and fast imagination! He's on the right path!

12.11.24 - HA! I loved the payoff to this one minute wonder by Morey Norkin. As a hiker, I too let my imagination take to the hills when I'm out in the woods, and this hit me right in the heart. Or I'm having an episode right now...

Wow, so much left to ponder just after one quick page of dialogue! What's going on?
And trust Mr Norkin to throw in a song lyric or two, no idea where he gets that from...
I'm sure if Carl eventually makes it up these stairs, the forests will echo with laughter.
