Once again, Arianna Rose has used her considerable skills to make inanimate objects come alive, in hilarious and poignant ways. The physicality is impressive, as is the wonderful creation of strong personalities for each chair. I also enjoyed the way each chair was able to reminisce about their own history. This is a play that is fun, exceedingly clever and should see many productions.

No one brings the inanimate to life on stage quite like Arianna Rose, and this heartfelt comedy about chairs (yup, chairs!) is no exception. Directors will need to deeply tap their creativity to stage this laugh-out-loud play, and I hope many will rise to the challenge because I want to see it! Now! So much fun.

Actors (and directors) can have a ball with this play. It’s also perfect for acting teachers to help students at all levels create characters with unique traits and work on their physical-comedy chops. And it’s a lot of fun along the way.

Rummage Rock, by Arianna Rose is a rockin' good time for actors, directors, and audiences. Four personified rocking chairs lament their plight as second hand chairs. Clearly defined characterization and clever allusions make this play a delight. The uplifting surprise ending conveys humor and hope.
