Oh my, is this is a fun piece! I laughed along with 90 of my new best friends at festival in Pittsburgh. The story-telling is solid, the characters are real and the dialogue is top-notch. Quite a few clever zingers move things along - the pace of the story is just perfect. I was absolutely taken by this play. I think this one may be ripe for expansion. Just wonderful.

I had the privilege of seeing this play performed at the Bridges and Stages Festival in Pittsburgh. Kim has a mastery of language and dialogue. This show is a perfect example of how her characters are real, breathing--they feel like they're ripped from life. This show about familial obligation vs heart's desire immediately brought me in. I was hooked. This is a great show and an amazing introduction to a new favorite playwright. I can't wait to see/read more.
