The world’s most famous living painter, a misanthropic recluse, is finishing what may be his last painting. While trying to avoid all the clamour from the museums and collectors at their isolated mountain retreat, Ted and his partner Ranya are interrupted by his adult offspring and his ethically-challenged ex-agent. A huge snow storm, an attempted robbery the arrival of a mountie and an attempted murder complicates what should have been a quiet denouement to a great artistic career.
