A phenomenally funny romp through a fantastical world of origami creatures, in which a Queen Bee's quest for a king transforms into something heartwarming and empowering... and there are some really funny sex jokes in there, too! Along the way, we meet some spectacularly funny suitors that actors will be clamoring to play, ripe for bold acting choices! If I had to describe this theatrical journey in one word I would call it FUN!

Physical and silly and sweet as honey. The queen bee may be looking for love in all the wrong places but what she finds is a loving reminder for all of us. Love is all around. And how fun is an origami set!

Whelp - I was really hoping the queen bee would find her king and I must say I've never been happier to be disappointed. So much fun to be had here! Actors and audiences alike will really enjoy this short.

It’s so lonely being Queen! Khanna has written a hilarious take on a queen bee’s search for her mate in a world in which the candidates are anything but promising. With four super-fun roles and some terrific physical comedy, this would be a blast to perform and would be a treat for audiences too.

This bonkers, grown up fairy tale has a great message about love and what forms it can appear. Romantic love isn't the #1 form of love, it's just the one everyone from people to paper think about the most! I imagine this is a story a single woman is telling herself on a lonely Valentine's Day while acting the story out with rejected paper valentine cards!

02.12.25 - We don't get many Bee-themed fairy tales amidst all the wolves and giants, so Kieran Khanna was only happy to oblige. Nice to see even the royal among the swarms out there have trouble finding true love. This is a light, buzzy comedy with a few action moments thrown in to keep things moving. I loved the resolution too. Origami Alligator gets a treat just as the audience does.

Anyone who has navigated the singles scene, be it bars or web apps, knows that looking for true love is a no-win situation. In this fun little flight of imagination, Kieran Khanna takes it to the height of fantasy with Queen Bee searching for her heart's desire among the drones. Lots of fun and plenty of action will make this a winner. Or the bee's knees...
