After a recent move from Nebraska, Vita Hargrove is struggling to adjust to her new life. While being visited by her best friend, Evan, when she gets a call from her husband, Kane, telling her that he's hit a deer and totaled their car. Together, Evan and Vita clear out the car and begin to sort through everything, trying to separate the blood and glass from anything salvageable. In doing this, Evan discovers...

After a recent move from Nebraska, Vita Hargrove is struggling to adjust to her new life. While being visited by her best friend, Evan, when she gets a call from her husband, Kane, telling her that he's hit a deer and totaled their car. Together, Evan and Vita clear out the car and begin to sort through everything, trying to separate the blood and glass from anything salvageable. In doing this, Evan discovers something no one expected: bloody clothes belonging to a missing girl. Soon, Vita becomes haunted with dreams of the girl, Winni, half deer and half woman, begging Vita to help her find her body and get her back to her mother. It's now not a matter of who killed the young girl, but of when Vita accepts it was her husband and what she does to fix it.
