I can always count on John Busser’s plays for a fun read and PLAY-BY-PLAYA is no exception. Still laughing! A truly creative mix of sports analogies with a smarmy pick-up in a bar, along with off-field reporting and double entendres will have the audience rolling! I want to see this performed!

Laugh out loud from beginning to end. The sports team announcers are perfect and the players are all pro. Like Morey says, "This is a Super Bowl pre-game show I'd pay to see!"

The NFL Today meets barroom pickups. Loaded with sexual innuendo and John Busser zingers, this play teaches a valuable lesson: It’s not how you play the game that counts, it’s how often you score! Now this is a Super Bowl pre-game show I’d pay to see!

The mating rituals of straight people are crazy. John Busser's documentary about two sexed-up people on the prowl is rife with insights about the human condition and ... one second, we're getting word this is a sex farce. This is a sex farce, folks. A hilarious short one-act with lewd lines, a fun and funny premise of sports announcers commenting on sexual hookups, and characters whom the audience will love to laugh at. It's a winner! [And I reiterate, straight mating rituals are crazy.]

Gotta love it when you can satirize both inept sports announcing AND a slightly sad hookup culture as well. A lot of laugh-out-loud lines in this, and I can only imagine it would be hilarious to see staged as well. No penalty here for a very fun shuttle pass of a short play about how carnal desire can indeed be a dangerous sport.

Omg! This play by play of barroom courtship makes me grateful to not be single. What a game! I love Carson’s breakdown of Ashley before guessing her name, but the reporters are absolutely hilarious! This fast paced comedy would be brilliant to see staged!
