What I love most about this play - and there is a LOT! - is the thematic exploration of weddings, a fertile intersection of class, relationships, comparison, judgment, and so much more. This play examines what it feels like to be lonely and figuring your life out at a time when it seems like everyone else has figured it out. The characters felt fresh and real, like reading about old friends. A great read with a fun comedic sensibility!!

Witty, charming, and perfectly captures the reality of navigating relationships in your 20s/30s. Wedding Famous has LGBT characters that are hysterical and it’s refreshing that they do not come at the expense of people within that community. The dialogue in this play feels real and genuine. I loved every second!

Controlled chaos in the best way - Wedding Famous is a comedic study of the quarter-life crisis, painting a universally relatable cast of characters whom audiences will fall hopelessly in love with, while also delivering a truly unique story. The script explores subjects including loyalty, self-confidence, friendship, and why the hell we're even going to all these weddings in the first place! But at its core, this is about the conflict between how the world sees us, and how we see ourselves.

Wedding Famous is a wonderfully funny play with an amazing center character in Tommy. A hilarious exploration of friendships, relationships, and how we all felt that year after covid when everyone got married (such a great "when" line btw). Brandon and Garrett are hilarious and do such a good job of writing something funny, quippy and real. It all feels like conversations I've heard between friends in 2021.

Wedding Famous perfectly captures that feeling where everyone else in your life seems to have it all together and you're so happy for them... and also you're really looking for a win in your own life. I love that this play never lets the characters lose their love for one another, even as friendships experience some "for worse" moments. A gorgeous look at love, but specifically platonic love.

Amidst all the laughs and hijinks, WEDDING FAMOUS skillfully tugs at some very interesting threads regarding generation and sexual-orientation related views of marriage. And, a beautiful monologue late in the story will surely find its way into many future real-world wedding ceremonies.
