passionate. She gets in her own way.

MIRA: 50 years old, 12 years old, and many places between. She is self-effacing,
conflicted, and full of feelings. She is smart and too quiet for her own good.

DAVID: 50 years old, 19 years old. He is a well-meaning Modern Orthodox man.

MORAH SARAH/MIKVEH ATTENDANT/RABBI: Should be played by a queer
actor in drag. A Modern Orthodox sex ed teacher trying too hard to make religious
restrictions “cool”/Woman who guides women through the ritual bathing process/a
classic pantsuited reform Rabbi.

GRACIE/MEL/NOA: An endearing and shy cottage core sweetheart/soft butch
heartthrob/an androgynous lesbian with a dark sense of humor
