  • Daniel Prillaman: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

Perhaps there comes a time for us all when we stop dressing up for Halloween. And is the passage of time and mortality's sexy presence not the scariest thing of all? Heyman's short is a hilarious and thoughtful stoner-infused slice of philosophy on much more than hotness. No trick here. This is all treat.

  • Mathew Green: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

A simple premise, two engaging characters, and crackerjack comic dialogue. Heyman's "Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?" shows us a believable friendship and kicks into high gear with the very first line. An excellent short comedy.

  • Mike Byham: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

Ah - the age-old dilemma on what to wear for Halloween. This is a funny short giving serious Dude, where’s my car vibes. The dialogue is crisp between two sharply-drawn characters. A lot of fun awaits a pair of lucky actors taking on these roles. Well done.

  • Aly Kantor: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

Goofy, silly, Halloween fun, with a little theology and existential dread thrown in for good measure! These two roommates are a spectacular odd couple, full of quirks and tangents to surprise and delight any audience. I'm amazed by how Sam managed to weave in some of the deep, dark themes of Dracula in a play that is ultimately a delightful comedy! Whether you dress up or not, you're going to have a blast reading this one!

  • Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

This short is a delight - plus it had me googling "Bram Stoker hot" to see what the results were, so it is also educational. This two-hander would make a fun palate cleanser in a night of Halloween shorts, as it's more funny and mind twisty (please see the sexy is scary and scary is sexy argument) than a more typical horror-style Halloween play.

Opposites clearly attract... but when it comes to Halloween costumes, opposites can also bring out big questions about life... and rent. SAM HEYMAN has created a duo that give Oscar and Felix a run for their money.

  • Christopher Soucy: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

If existential dread were a Halloween costume, it would look like our everyday attire. Sam Heyman points out the rules of sexy costumes, fearing our maker, and how confidence is a pretty stellar mask.

  • Nora Louise Syran: Who's Afraid of Bram Stoker?

Hysterical. Join Bryan and Tad as they share a philosophical moment contemplating “the horror of being known” -- as well as --hopefully-- the rent! I was fortunate to hear this read aloud and I'm still contemplating the sexy slider ruler!
