When Sam Hurley gets an idea, she executes it. The clash between these Abraham Lincoln impersonators vying for the same woman (also impersonating Lincoln) results in a playful yet absurd inspection of fragile masculinity. Of course, this is a patent Sam Hurley piece, so it is also filled with delicious vulgarity, edge, and excess. In other words: after reading, I thought about Greg Heffley's dad and his fascination with the Civil War, and I didn't know why, but I did know why. A juicy read!

Sam's desecration of (somewhat) culturally relevant men keeps up with Lincoln Lincoln Lincoln Lincoln, a very fun quick read. Would love to see that sexy Gettysburg Address done live. There doesn't seem to be much at stake, but as Ronnie points out "It’s not that serious either..I mean like… (gesturing to the fact that they’re grown men dressed like Lincoln)"
