As Lucifer digs into his case, the whole of the underworld begins to shift. Eve, his long-suffering assistant, grows uneasy. Seraphine, an angelic auditor from the Divine Court, descends with warnings. The air thickens with the sense that someone much higher is paying attention, and darkness gathers as the arrival no one wants in Lucifer’s penthouse begins to loom.
