←Recommendations of The Drawer - A 5-MINUTE PLAY

The last page of this play hit, and I started crying. I haven't stopped yet. I don't know what else more to say than that this short hits on something special. Any piece of writing that can make someone truly feel something, anything, is special. Oh goodness. I imagine any performance of this would see at least one person in the crowd having a similar reaction as me. How wonderful art is.

A very touching play. I'd love to see this developed into a longer play where some of the apologies are revealed with backstories.

Sometimes, it feels like you are walking around with razor blades in your pockets. The slightest move cuts you. That's what this short play reminds me of. All the little cuts we give and get and never truly forget. Some people have thick skin; others lie awake at night tending to the hundreds of small cuts. Brava, Deb.

Maggie has figured out how to help understand and fix those items from the day and the past that interrupt our present lives. She shares this with her husband and it brings them closer. Debra Cole has written about a very real triumph in our lives.

Too many of us understand Maggie all too well. The words not spoken can keep us awake long into the night. DEBRA A. COLE has given a loving and gently example of how a partner's understanding can help promote healing. Well done!
